London Conference and Adventures: A Global Perspective on Youth Prevention

[Written from Munich Airport] The vibrant heart of London recently hosted an enlightening conference created by American Lee Fitzgerald, where global perspectives on mental health, trauma and addiction were discussed. As a speaker, I had the privilege of engaging in meaningful discussions with Maks Ezrin about Youth Prevention Mentors (YPM), our global commitment to reduce risk among young people and to enhance self-efficacy. Professional Insights During our sessions, we delved deep into YPM’s core mission, exploring how we: Build self-efficacy in young people Incorporate executive function skills into our daily work Implement systemic approaches through Family Matters Create sustainable blueprint for sucess The response from our London colleagues was overwhelming, with 89 professionals joining us for a YPM-hosted luncheon. The highlight? Fortune cookies that added a whimsical touch to our professional networking.
